The Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (Electics) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) held a seminar entitled “E-Talks: Machine Learning and AI” to provide students with in-depth insight into this ever-developing world.
The event, which was held in the Postgraduate Building, was held in Sunday, October 15 2023 and attended by 120 students from various study programs at Electics ITS, who have high interest and enthusiasm for the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This seminar aims to present the latest thinking, trends, and applications of AI in various industries.
In this seminar, students get a rare opportunity to hear directly from renowned AI experts and ITS alumni. One of the main speakers was Ratna Dian Nabila, an ITS Physics Engineering alumna who now has a career as a Machine Learning Developer and has made various achievements in the technology industry. In his presentation, the presenters discussed the latest developments in the field of AI, from machine learning to practical applications in everyday life. Apart from that, the speaker presented was Faiz Adhima an ITS Electrical Engineering alumni, and a Machine Path Cohort at Bangkit Academy, who gave his views regarding machine learning.
Chair of the ITS Electics BEM, Adzany Tealent Risabury, stated, “This seminar is part of our efforts to broaden students’ insight into cutting-edge technology. AI is not only a trend, but also an integral part of future industrial development, and we want our students to become a leader in realizing its potential in this era.”
This seminar event not only provides new knowledge but also builds networks between students and AI practitioners. It is hoped that through this experience, ITS Electics students will be increasingly motivated to explore and innovate in the field of AI, opening up new opportunities for their contribution to the world of technology.
