Welcome!

The 1st International Seminar on Chemistry (ISoC I) will be held on 28-29 October 2014. Giving new atmosphere in the seminar, the ISoC I will be held in Sanur Bali, the resort island of Indonesia.

The ISoC I is a continuation of the National Seminar on Chemistry (SENAKI) which has been held every year since 1999 with purpose to promote and develop science and technology in chemistry. SENAKI is a forum for students, researchers , educators , observers and practitioners from university, research institutions, industry and general public to exchange ideas and latest information in the field of chemistry and its application. Coincide with the 30th anniversary of Chemistry Department, the scope of SENAKI is the expanded into international seminar which invites participants from around the world to get involved.

The theme for the ISoC I is “Chemistry for Better Life” which includes five main issues:

  1. Medicinal chemistry
  2. Food chemistry
  3. Energy
  4. Environmental chemistry
  5. Materials chemistry

The five main issues includes some specific fields in chemistry including biochemistryanalytical chemistryinorganic chemistryphysical chemistryorganic chemistry and also biotechnologycatalysisceramics chemistry, etc.

The deadline for full paper submission is until 15 September 2014 extended until 30 September 2014, 24.00 (Final round submission).

Update 6 September 2014
There are two kinds of presentation in ISOC:
1. Oral presentation: The presenter should prepare the Presentation Slide. The duration for each presenter is 20 minutes (15 minutes for research presentation and 5 minutes for discussion)
2. Poster presentation: The presenter should prepare a poster (A1 in size) by including the Paper ID in top right side of the poster
To register as non presenter participant, please fill the registration form and sent it back to our email at isoc@chem.its.ac.id
