Program Learning Outcomes

Head of Computer Engineering Department FT-EIC ITS affirm the Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) which has been formulated by PLO Drafting Team at the Computer Engineering Department Work Meeting on 14-15 December 2019 with the agenda of “Drafting of 2020 Works Program and Developments of Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curicullum” at Baobab Safari Resort Prigen based on the letter of assignment from the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Technology (before FTEIC formed) No. 3057/IT2.VI3/PP.08/2019. The drafting process on the work meeting is attended by PLO Drafting Team, Lecturer, and Alumni of Computer Engineering Department. The Drafted OBE based PLO is attached in two language which is Indonesian and English.

1.	PEO1: Computer Engineering graduates show constructive and contributive character for themselves and the people of the nation with the basis of The One Almighty God.	PLO1: Able to demonstrate attitudes and characters that reflect: piety to God Almighty, ethics and integrity, virtuous character, sensitive and concerned about social and environmental issues, respecting cultural differences and pluralism, upholding law enforcement prioritizing the interests of the nation and the wider community, through creativity and innovation, excellence, strong leadership, synergy, and other potential to achieve maximum results.
		PLO2: Able to study and utilize science and technology in order to apply it to certain areas of expertise, and be able to make appropriate decisions from the results of their own work or group work in the form of final project reports or other forms of learning activities whose output is equivalent to the final project through logical, critical thinking , systematic and innovative.
2.	PEO2: Computer Engineering graduates have the knowledge and understanding in the field of natural science and engineering for the field of Computer Engineering.	PLO3: Able to manage self-learning, and develop oneself as a personal lifelong learner to compete at national and international levels, in order to make a real contribution to solving problems by implementing information and communication technology and paying attention to the principles of sustainability and understanding technology-based entrepreneurship.
3.	PEO3: Computer Engineering graduates can analyze the problems related to applications of the field of computer engineering and be able to recommend a solution based on knowledge and understanding in the field of computer engineering.	PLO4: Have a broad and good knowledge in the fields of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering, which enables them to understand certain fields related to computer engineering such as circuits and electronics, digital design, embedded systems, computer architecture and organization, computer networks, signal processing , computer algorithms and information security.
		PLO5: Have knowledge of the latest and most recent technological developments in the field of computer systems and networks which include hardware and software applied to embedded systems, digital signal processing, communication systems, multimedia computing and information security and knowledge of current principles and issues related to economic factors, occupational health and safety, social, ecology in general.
4.	PEO4: Computer Engineering graduates can develop hardware and/or software design that fulfills the need for global markets evaluated by the aspects of maintainability, sustainability, and manufacturability.	PLO6: Able to select and apply modeling, calculation and testing methods through experiments and computer simulations, able to explain results in the fields of cloud computing, wireless sensor networks, internet of things (IoT), wearable devices, embedded systems and robotics.
5.	PEO5: Computer Engineering graduates can demonstrate their expertise in problem-solving by considering the aspect of health, security, and law including economical and environmental requirements.	PLO7: Able to develop hardware and/or software designs (integrated) that are implemented in embedded systems, signal processing, communication systems, multimedia computing, and information security; as well as being able to evaluate aspects of maintainability, sustainability, and manufacturability.
		PLO8: Able to design products for the global market in the field of cloud computing, wireless sensor networks, internet of things (IoT), wireless sensor networks, internet of things, wearable devices, embedded systems and robotics.
6.	PEO6: Graduate of Computer Engineering have the ability to demonstrate an awareness of project management and business practices through effective communication strategies, interdisciplinary teamwork, professional and ethical responsibilities, and being able to engage in lifelong independent learning.	PLO9: Able to apply knowledge and understanding to gain practical skills, to solve problems, for research assignments and design systems and procedures including awareness of health, security, legal aspects, taking into account technical, economic and environmental needs.
