Surabaya, February 18, 2025 – The Department of Computer Engineering at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) once again provides a space for creativity and innovation for its students through the Computer & Electrical Engineering Expo 2025. This event serves as a platform for students to showcase their innovative works in the field of technology. Held at Tower 2 ITS, the event is lively with a variety of projects being displayed.
The Secretary of the Department of Computer Engineering ITS, Dr. Diah Puspito Wulandari, S.T., M.Sc., explained that this expo not only impacts students currently taking related courses, such as Telematics Projects and Final Projects, but also provides broader insight into the topics of these courses for new students. “What we hope for, besides having an effect on students taking the relevant courses, is to give new students an overview of the topics in the telematics project courses and to inspire them for their future final project topics,” she said.
The Computer & Electrical Engineering Expo 2025 is the culmination of the learning process in the Telematics Project and Final Project courses at the Department of Computer Engineering ITS. In this event, students are required to disseminate and promote the real innovations they have created as a form of academic implementation.
In addition to the exhibition of Telematics Project and Final Project works as the main event, this event also presents an Introduction to the Department of Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, held on the 11th floor of Tower 2. This activity provides insights to students and visitors about the academic structure, courses, as well as research and innovation opportunities in both departments.
Moreover, the expo is enlivened by the Open Lab event, spread across various laboratories of Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at ITS. Through Open Lab, students and visitors can directly observe the research facilities, experiments, and various projects currently being developed in each laboratory.
Through the Computer & Electrical Engineering Expo 2025, the Department of Computer Engineering ITS hopes to encourage students to be more driven in creating and innovating, both in academic and practical aspects. This expo also contributes to supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. With a spirit of innovation and sustainable education, this expo is expected to continue to grow and inspire future generations.
