Sabtu 11 September 2021 telah dilaksanakan kegiatan Seminar Series 1 World Class Professor 2021 yang diselengarakan oleh departemen Matematika ITS melalui media Zoom dan live Youtube.  Workshop ini diikuti oleh 170 peserta baik dari ITS maupun luar ITS, kegiatan ini  merupakan seminar yang pertama dari Empat kegiatan yang dijadwalkan.
