Department of Business and Management ITS has another bright achievement by collaboratively hosted The 1st IConBEM 2020 on February 1st, 2020 in Surabaya. The event was brought a success with the record of 140 paper submissions from the reputable authors of 7 countries. The IConBEM also did the wonderful arrangement, thanks to the committee, by inviting the worldwide scholars from Australia, Taiwan, as well as the Top CEO from State Owned Enterprise.
The activity was held in a day. Opened by the first keynote from Taiwan, Associate Professor Chih-Liang Liu, he began the discussion by talking Financial Nodes: From Academics to Practices. The speech talked much on how the financial diversify from academics and practices with the impact on the process. The second session was taken by Andre A. Pekerti, a Senior Lecturer from the University of Queensland. Showing the excitement of his research, Dr. Pekerti explains on how the Rapid Acculturation Mateship Program (RAMP) can provide the significant impact on culture collaboration. The third session was presented by Dr. Fajar Harry Sampurno with the topic of Manufacturing Industry in Disruption Era. From one of the biggest the State Owned Enterprise perspectives, Dr. Sampurno explains how the disruptive era change the way the enterprise works.
After the keynote sessions were presented, the event continues by providing the parallel sessions for many scholars as the place to discuss on the research matter. The parallel sessions were numbered into 10, where the sessions were taken from three Tracks entitled: Business and Social Science; Engineering Management; and Management. The event was closed by 4 PM with the end of authors’ presentation
