Parents Meeting, Welcome & Send-Off Party: Welcoming Warmly, Carrying On With Enthusiasm

Surabaya, August 27, 2023— Today, the Business Management Department of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) held a special event entitled “Parents Meeting, Welcome & Send-Off Party” as a welcome for 115 regular students of 2023 and 41 IUP Business Management ITS students, as well as 29 foreign students who were also warmly welcomed. The parents of the students also attended the event to provide full support to their children who are starting a new academic journey.
The event was also an opportunity to congratulate and welcome back 9 IUP students who came from Belgium and France after completing the Double Degree program at Rennes School of Business and Vives University. This international experience is not only their personal achievement but also an inspiration for other students to explore international opportunities in higher education.
An equally important moment was the announcement of the departure of 11 students from the 2021 batch who will continue their studies at Rennes School of Business, France, and 11 other students who will study at Vives University of Applied Science, Belgium. In addition, 2 students will also continue their studies at the University of Queensland, Australia. This farewell is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter in their academic journey, which will open up extraordinary opportunities.
All of these achievements reflect the full support of the Business Management Department for students. The ITS Business Management Department sincerely appreciates every step and effort of students in achieving their goals in higher education. Welcome to the new ITS Business Management students of 2023, and good luck to the 24 Business Management students from the 2021 batch who are continuing their academic struggles abroad.
