MKPI ITS — May 24-28 2022, MKPI ITS participated in the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR) 2022 event at the Nusa Dua Convention Center (NDCC), Bali. The activities exhibited at the UN in Indonesia stand are the result of collaboration between MKPI ITS and Mott MacDonald through funding support from the British Government (UK FCDO).
The main results of the activities carried out are:
1. Study of the earthquake risk profile in Surabaya
2. Formulation of strategies and mitigation actions for the Surabaya earthquake
3. Formulation of strategies and actions for the Surabaya earthquake response
4. Formulation of strategies and actions to recover the Surabaya earthquake
5. The concept of building retrofit ideas and building codes
6. Strengthening the capacity for earthquake preparedness through training and drills at the YPAB Gebang Putih School
7. Construction of evacuation routes at LB-A Junior High School YPAB Gebang Putih
8. Making a Talking Touch Evacuation Map (Evari Map) as a learning medium for residents of LB-A YPAB Junior High School/SMA in studying evacuation routes in their school environment.
