MKPI ITS – Through the MKPI Research Center, ITS as a campus also contributes to research in the fields of climatology and geophysics. With this expertise, BMKG discusses cooperation discourses that can be pursued. The Deputy for Geophysics of the BMKG, Dr. Suko Prayitno Adi MSi, was directly present at this meeting, who highlighted the potential for BMKG educational collaboration at ITS to realize an accelerated doctoral program within the BMKG staff environment. In addition, the ITS research team also presented findings and research activities related to disasters which they hope can be integrated and followed up by BMKG for collaboration.
