MKPI ITS – Based on the ITS statute in Indonesian Government Regulation Number 54 of 2015, it has been mandated that ITS must implement an internal quality assurance system as an effort to continuously improve quality as a responsibility to stakeholders. The 2023 SPMI audit was carried out last October and MKPI succeeded in winning the top three best SPMI research centers. On November 10th 2023, to coincide with the National Heroes’ Day ceremony, the Deputy Head of the MKPI Research Center received an award as one of the best SPMI score winners by the ITS Chancellor.
The SPMI Puslit MKPI assessment consists of 17 aspects ranging from the relevance of the researcher’s topic, the amount of research and funding, student involvement, research output, to increasing researcher competency. MKPI received a score of 365 out of 400 in the desk-audit process by the auditor. After an offline auditor’s visit on October 16 2023, MKPI achieved a final assessment result of 380 out of 400 which made it the top three Research Centers with the best SPMI scores.
