ITS Campus, ITS News — Amazing achievements were successfully carved by educational staff (tendik) from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) at the National Quality and Productivity Work Meeting (TKMPN) XXVIII 2024 held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali. In the national scale event that ended on Friday (6/12) night, the six ITS representative teams managed to bring home three gold medals and three platinum medals.
TKMPN is an annual event held by PT Wahana Kendali Mutu together with the Indonesian Quality and Productivity Management Association to encourage improvements in the quality and productivity of companies and organizations in Indonesia. The competition, which was held for five days, since December 2, carries the theme Realizing the Golden Generation through Green Innovation Productivity.
Deputy Director of Human Resources and Organization (SDMO) ITS Dr Irhamah SSi MSi revealed that in the event which was attended by 650 teams from companies and other professionals, ITS managed to increase its achievements in the Quality Control Circle (QCC) and Quality Control Project (QCP) categories. “This year we managed to increase our medal achievements with a total of three gold and platinum medals each,” he explained.
Furthermore, the lecturer from the ITS Statistics Department explained that ITS delegated six teams to participate in TKMPN 2024. The six teams came with various innovations to provide solutions and answer company problems. “Among them are the AIA Genlits Team, Last Detectives, and Keep Safety who won gold medals, and the SRIKANDI, 3R, and ULDC PION Teams who won platinum medals,” he explained.
The six innovations are considered capable of increasing company productivity. One of them was carried by the AIA Genlits Team which presented an innovation called ITSPik, a social media management application to provide easy, cheap and fun solutions for users. This notion-based application offers guidance on compiling content pillars, creating content calendars, and providing design and photo assets that can be edited according to ITS branding.
In addition to ITSPik, an interesting innovation also came from the ULDC PION Team which presented the I-Tem Center (ITS Ticketing & Event Management). The system developed by the ITS University Leadership Development Center (ULDC) aims to integrate various technology services used in implementing activities at ITS, such as WhatsApp Hotline, MailJet, and other systems used by ITS.
Through these various proud achievements, the ITS alumnus also expressed his appreciation to the ITS education staff who were able to compete with teams from BUMN, national private companies, government institutions and others from all over Indonesia. “Hopefully these innovations can bring benefits and good impacts sustainably for ITS and the general public,” he concluded hopefully.
