ITS Campus, ITS News – as a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH), the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) seeks to strengthen the relationship of cooperation with various parties. One of them is with the Indonesian Army Command And General Staff College (Sesko TNI) in the field of education and defense and security through the signing of a memorandum of understanding at ITS Rectorate Building, Monday (17/2).

The signing of a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is certainly not the first time done by ITS. In this opportunity, it cooperates with Sesko TNI to strengthen relations in the affairs of Education, Research, and public service.

Director of Academic and School Cooperation(DIRKERSAMIK) Sesko TNI first Marshal of TNI Paradise Syamsyudin SIP explained that the agreement between ITS and Sesko TNI focuses on three points. First, the cooperation was implemented in the form of an adjustment curriculum to target the education curriculum of Sesko TNI and ITS. The existence of this agreement opens the opportunity for graduates of Sesko TNI to be able to join ITS Graduate school.

Not only in the field of education, but the second point also emphasized in this MoU is the agreement in terms of research. “What we’ve got and what ITS got, we combine it for research,” said Firdaus. Then, the third point is working together in terms of community devotion. The TNI itself, according to Firdaus, has always teamed up with several state universities (PTN) annually, with one of the main requirements that the PTN must be accredited A. This year, Sesko TNI appointed ITS as PTN which has been awarded the title of Accreditation A by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT), to be a colleague in producing better quality of human resources (SDM)

Meanwhile, ITS Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Ashari M Eng said that Sesko TNI is the fourth School of elementary school schools that have been invited to cooperate by ITS. Previously ITS has also been in cooperation with the Indonesia Naval Technology College (STTAL).

The men’s with glasses claimed that establishing a partnership with Sesko TNI was an honor for ITS. “We also want if the TNI and ITS Sesko can be a synergy not only in the field of education, research, and community service but further also to create the younger generation,” said the rector who is familiarly called Ashari.

On that occasion, the Rector was also accompanied by another ITS executive board. Among others, Vice-rector II Ir Mas Agus Mardyanto ME Ph.D., Vice-Rector IV Bambang Pramujati ST MScEng Ph.D., and Secretary of ITS Institute Dr. Suhartono SSi MSc. From Sesko TNI owns, also present Paban III Kersamik Colonel Inf I Wayan Suajana SE MM and Pabandya III Kersamik Lieutenant Col Pas Budi Teguh who also witnessed the procession of signing the deal.
