ITS Campus, ITS News – Department of Industrial Product Design (Despro) , Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business (CREABIZ) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) gives an opportunity for prospective students with outstanding achievements to get a Golden Ticket in the 2022 National Selection for Higher Education Entrance State 2022 or the SNMPTN 2022 . The golden ticket can be achieved by several general requirements and predetermined selection stages.

Bambang Tristiyono ST MSi, Head of the ITS Industrial Product Design Department, explained the purpose of the Golden Ticket route is to give special appreciation to students of SMA/MA/SMK or equivalent who meet the requirements and criteria to be accepted as the new students in 2022. “This golden ticket entrance is also to promote this department known as Despro to the general public,” he explained.

This golden ticket entrance, which was first opened by Despro ITS, has several general requirements. Participants must prepare a National Student Identification Number (NISN), a copy of report cards up to semester 5, proof of academic and non-academic achievements, evidence of extraordinary accomplishments, a handwritten essay containing self-description and reasons for choosing ITS Despro, as well as a statement of authenticity of achievement and documents signed with their respective principal.

Another requirement is that participants must choose the ITS Product Design Department as the State University or Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) of choice in the 2022 SNMPTN registration path. said Bambang

Participants must also attach proof of their participation in the ITS Fair ini lho ITS!, held on January 8 – 23, 2022. Bambang said this is so that participants know more about ITS, especially the ITS Industrial Product Design Department. “We don’t want to make the wrong choice, the participation of participants in the ITS Fair can show the seriousness and interest in choosing the ITS Despro,” he said.

In addition, there are three types of outstanding achievements that prospective students can register. First, national or international achievements in design and organized by leading institutions. Second, entrepreneurs, especially in design or creative business, are evidenced by a business profile equipped with turnover and business account links. “Thirdly, influencers or Youtubers as evidenced by social media links,” explained this bespectacled man.

The Golden Ticket Requirements for ITS Industrial Product Design in 2022

For the selection stage, participants will go through three steps. The first step is the selection of the required documents, which will be opened on 14 – 28 February 2022 at 5.00 pm. The second step is the interview selection for those who pass the first step. Then the third step is the final verification and announcement of Golden Ticket winners.

Finally, Bambang hopes that the existence of the Golden Ticket route can make the ITS Despro Department better known and become the student’s favorite choice. He also hopes that this pathway can give special appreciation to participants who meet the requirements and criteria to be accepted as new students in 2022. “Hopefully, there will be more applicants and ITS Despro enthusiasts,” he concluded hopefully.
