Repeating Drive-Thru Graduation, ITS Confirms 1,078 Graduates

ITS Campus, ITS News – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) again held a hybrid graduation procession. Drive-thru (offline) is stored in the courtyard of the ITS Rectorate Building and online (online) for two consecutive days, starting Saturday (26/3). At the 125th graduation, 1,078 graduates were officially declared to have passed by the ITS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir Mochammad Ashari MEng.

In his remarks, the Chancellor, who is familiarly called Ashari, said that the offline graduation or drive-thru graduation was carried out by all 125th graduates for the diploma handover process. Except for those who were unable to attend, they finally followed online. Among the total graduates, 248 of them graduated with cum laude predicate. “We give appreciation and appreciation to graduates with cum laude predicate.” said the Professor of Electrical Engineering.

The first day of graduation was attended by 519 graduates consisting of the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD), the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering (FTIRS), the Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business (FDKBD), and the Faculty of Vocational (FV). “108 of them graduated with cum laude predicate,” explained Ashari.

Furthermore, on the second day of graduation, Sunday (27/3) tomorrow, 559 graduates (68 of them are registered online) with 140 graduating cum laude. The graduates on the second day consisted of the Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Earth (FTSPK); Faculty of Marine Technology (FTK); Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (FTEIC); and the Interdisciplinary School of Management and Technology (SIMT).

The best graduate at the 125th graduation this time was achieved by Wakhid Ahmad Jauhari as the best graduate of the doctoral program from the Department of System and Industrial Engineering. It was followed by the best graduates of the master’s program achieved by Marieta Monica from the Department of Statistics and Muhammad Taufiq Hidayat from the Department of Biology.

Furthermore, Rizky Ryan Kurniawan from the Department of Mechanical Engineering got the best graduate of the undergraduate program with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.90. Finally, the best graduate of the applied undergraduate program was achieved by Ratri Fahrus Krisbiantoro from the Civil Infrastructure Engineering Department with a GPA of 3.62.
