Semarang, ITS News – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) continues to demonstrate its superiority in the field of robotics. Five championship titles were successfully achieved by ITS Robotics Team after competing at the national level of Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) in Universitas Semarang (USM) which ended on Sunday (25/6) evening.

In this annual robot contest, the ITS team succeeded in excelling five out of seven categories which they participated in, such as becoming the second place of the Humanoid Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) category, the third place of the Wheeled KRSBI. Because of their intelligence in responding to problems in the arena, Ichiro Team also won an award for the Technical Challenge Award. In this category, the robot teams should compete in the arena for five minutes of the match and create score as much as possible.

Those two dance robots wore traditional clothes for the Gambang Semarang dance. Moreover, ITS Vi-Rose Team designed their robot outfit with a blue shirt combined with batik skirt which was adjusted to the size of the robots. Besides, the brown cloth was also added so that the Vi-Rose robot looks like a real dancer.

Different from previous years, at the KRI 2023 event the Indonesian Underwater Robot Contest category was also contested. In this category, which is the first time this has been held, ITS was represented by the Banyubramanta Team which won the first prize.
