ITS Campus, ITS News – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) won the 2022 Highest Position (Top 10%) Main Performance Indicator (IKU) League of Legal Entity State Universities (PTN-BH) awarded by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Directorate General of Higher Education).
The Rector of ITS, Prof. Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng, admitted that he was excited and proud of this achievement. Thanks to the efforts and hard work of the academic community, ITS managed to excel in eight KPIs to achieve the highest overall position (top 10%) among other PTN-BHs.
Among the eight IKUs, ITS occupies the first position in IKU-1 which assesses the eligibility of post-graduation student employment. “ITS is in the Top 10% with the highest overall achievement of KPI PTN-BH 2022 and is also the best in IKU-1 for three consecutive years,” he said.
The man, who is familiarly called Ashari, added that this award is clearly inseparable from all the efforts of the ITS academic community. “Congratulations to ITS. This achievement is a harvest and acknowledgment of the intelligent, sincere, and thorough work of the entire ITS extended family. Thank you.
ITS Secretary, Dr. Umi Laili Yuhana SKom MSc explained, ITS has taken several initiatives, such as building supporting learning facilities and infrastructure. The construction of several Smart Classrooms in all departments and the procurement of laboratory equipment in each faculty is a realization of this initiative.
Not only that, ITS continues to strive to improve the quality of student graduates by providing practical experience and other training. This initiative is supported by efforts to implement relevant curricula and enhance partnerships with various external industries, both at home and abroad.
“ITS continues to make efforts to improve excellent service in all fields and improve the quality of graduates, the quality of lecturers, and the quality of institutions,” said Yuhana.
Yuhana continued that this achievement can help ITS academics and the surrounding community. By graduating highly educated and skilled students, ITS can directly or indirectly help improve the welfare of society.
“By the ease with which graduates get decent jobs, ITS will help solve government problems related to educated unemployment,” he added.
All the efforts dedicated to this award did not make ITS complacent. Yuhana stated that ITS is committed to providing excellent service, work, and the best achievements continuously in the future. (ITS PR)
