ITS Campus, ITS News — Machine damage is a big problem that can disrupt entire processes in an industry. Responding to this issue, a team of students from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) initiated a startup entitled Include Technology Indonesia which is projected to be an effective solution for overcoming machine breakdown times.
The Include Team consists of eight people, namely Singgih Ardiansyah, Raul Ilma Rajasa, Arum Puspa Arianto, Ahmad Akmal Rijal, Moh Iqbal Fatchurozi, Novi Indah Prihatiningsih, Danial Farros Maulana, and Ahmad Hazim Izzal Khaqi. Team leader, Singgih Ardiansyah said that this startup is aimed at creating an effective and efficient smart industry.
Furthermore, this ITS Computer Engineering Department student explained that Include Technology Indonesia itself is a start-up company with an end-to-end system or providing comprehensive services and products. This startup focuses on completing and providing preventive measures in machine maintenance in various industries to reduce machine breakdown time. “In the process we use the Internet of Things or IoT basis,” said Singgih.
Overall, according to Singgih, this startup offers three main services, namely IoT integration, a service feature that integrates machines with various sensors connected to the IoT application platform. Next is the failure detection feature which uses various sensor data to detect engine damage. As well as a predictive maintenance feature which aims to predict machine damage and predict the most efficient maintenance time for the company.
Regarding the performance of the products offered by this startup, Singgih explained, it can be seen from the tendency of various companies to order services and products from this startup repeatedly. According to Singgih, this shows that the quality and performance of the startup he started in his first year of college does not need to be doubted. “Quantitatively, we have reduced maintenance costs by up to 40 percent from previous costs,” he added.
However, this young man from Purbalingga does not want to be satisfied quickly. As a form of evaluation, Singgih admitted that he would continue to improve various aspects of his startup, including branding and collaboration. Not only that, according to Singgih, his team will continue to innovate to develop this product to be more consumer friendly and improvise to be more productive and efficient.
Through this startup innovation, the team coached by Muhammad Nurif SE MT has also succeeded in achieving a brilliant achievement as 3rd place winner in the 2023 University Startup World Cup organized by Venture Cup Denmark, last September. According to Singgih, this achievement is a big motivation for his team to go further in expanding the company’s wings.
Lastly, this fourth year student hopes that his team’s startup company can develop more rapidly both in terms of team, product and market. With this expansion, it is hoped that the impact on industrial progress in Indonesia will also be wider. “We always try our best, hopefully the future will be better,” concluded Singgih optimistically.
