Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is ready to welcome 1,547 new students who have passed the 2025 National Achievement-Based Selection (SNBP) pathway.

ITS Campus, ITS News — Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) officially passed 1,547 prospective new students through the 2025 National Achievement-Based Selection (SNBP). The results of this selection were officially announced simultaneously by the Education Testing Management Center (BP3), Tuesday (18/3), at 15.00 WIB.

Head of the ITS Admission and Promotion Subdirectorate Nani Kurniati ST MT PhD revealed that this time ITS has prepared 1,547 seats for prospective new students through the SNBP pathway. According to her, this moment is ITS’s effort to increase the opportunities for students to be able to attend college. “A total of 18,028 interested people have competed for ITS on this achievement pathway,” said Nani.

The lecturer of the ITS Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering said that ITS was the first choice of 12,176 applicants and the second choice of 5,852 applicants. Not only that, several leading departments also topped the list of applicants. Among them are the Department of Informatics Engineering with 1,431 applicants, the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering with 846 applicants, followed by the Department of Information Systems with 733 applicants.

Just like the previous year, Nani added, this year the quota available for the 2025 SNBP pathway is 22 percent of the total selection of new ITS students in 2025. Not only that, this time ITS added a quota for recipients of the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP-K). “Namely 319 people for KIP-K recipients, while for the others are regular,” he explained.

Nani said that the increase in prospective new students through the SNBP pathway was the beginning of five new study programs (prodi) that ITS had previously launched. Namely the Biotechnology Study Program from the Department of Biology , the Applied Logistics Analytics Study Program from the Department of Business Statistics , and the Process Safety Engineering Study Program from the Department of Mechanical Engineering . In addition, there is also the Communication Science Study Program from the Department of Development Studies , and the Digital Business Study Program from the Department of Business Management .

Seeing the increasing enthusiasm for ITS, Nani congratulated the prospective new students who successfully passed and will set foot on this Hero Campus. He hopes that the presence of these young generations can become superior seeds for the nation and state. “Therefore, ITS will make every effort to form a capable golden generation,” he said.

This achievement shows ITS’s commitment to realizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4 regarding quality education. ITS strives to create an institution that is able to accommodate and produce quality and contributive students.
