From quote above we can say that Libraries are the cornerstones of a civilized society, without libraries we wouldn’t be where we are today. The library is the main access to all information, a place for anyone to studied. The library continuously making changes, gather information and embrace the latest technology.

In its development, the library often work together to improve the quality of library services. It can be reached in various ways, one of way is a library visit. As staffs of the University Library Ibrahimy (UNIB) Situbondo Sukorejo did on Tuesday 26 March 2019. They visit ITS Library in order to improve the stability and performance of Technical Implementing Service (UPT) Library under the auspices of the University of lbrahimy.

The staff who had come visiting UNIB consists of 7 staff, they were H Najib, M.Pd I. as the head of the library, and other staff of the other staffs are Head of sub section Library Adminstration, Head of  sub section Finance, Head of sub section IT & Development. Head of sub section Technical Service Processing and Head of sub section Services and Circulation. After being greeted friendly by Mr. Edy Suprayitno as head of ITS Library and ITS staffs, they continue their visit by doing benchmarking according to their respective areas of their work.

Not only by interviewing the staffs but also directly practicing in how to do the job. Like RidJa Muhammad Ali, M.Kom. who tries to practice directly in processing circulation transaction (borrowing, renewals and refunds). After the job practices about two hours in each division, they’re back invited to Bibliotek room to discuss what they already got.

In that occasion they convey his gratitude to ITS Library for the warm and remarks welcoming and even exceed their ecpectation. They’re also admit that they get a lot of knowledge and new experience which certainly will be very beneficial for the development of their library.”We are really grateful, we feel very well served, all ITS library staff is very friendly. A lot of knowledge that we got from here which surely will be apply soon in our library.” H Said Najib, M. Pd I. UNIB Head of Library.(nrl/dav)
