Surabaya, January 12, 2025. Carrying forward the spirit of the Rector’s speech at the beginning of the year, ITS Library successfully held the Bright Friday program on Friday, January 10, 2025. This program serves as a platform for all library staff to boost their spirit and contribution in maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of the library.
“Bright Friday is not just about cleaning, but also about building a healthy spirit,” said Mr. Sukur, a library staff member who also serves as the morning exercise instructor. The group exercise led by Mr. Sukur kicked off the Bright Friday activities, enlivening the morning atmosphere with enthusiasm and laughter.
After the exercise, activities continued with a collective cleaning effort in the first-floor storage room. Library staff worked together to move items, sort books, and reorganize the library collection. “This activity is very beneficial for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the library,” said Mr. Agus Santoso, Head of ITS Library.
He also added, “If there are items such as cardboard boxes or other non-asset items, they can be directly delivered to the ITS Eco Campus waste bank. It’s quite beneficial, helping to protect the environment and reduce waste. Access is easy, you can go directly to https://taste.its.ac.id/admin/login.”
The library staff’s enthusiasm in participating in the Bright Friday program was evident. “I’m very happy to be part of this program. Besides being able to clean the library, it also strengthens togetherness and care,” said Mr. Mujiana, one of the library staff members. (onemoreITS)
