An atmosphere of enthusiasm filled the ITS Library on Thursday (October 31, 2024) during the assessment of the 5S+S program with the theme of K3L (Occupational Safety and Health). Four outstanding library teams, namely the Narkanti Team, the Ted Data Team, the Pandur (Pantang Mundur) Team, and the Legends Team, showcased the results of their hard work in creating a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment.
The assessment, which took place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time, was conducted by two experienced judges, Mrs. Rahayu and Mr. Odi from ITS SDMO. During the inspection from the 2nd to the 4th floor, the judges discovered various interesting innovations, including the Sobat Riset (SORE) service developed by the Legends Team – a representative research service area to support research activities, a service that previously did not exist. “The ITS Library team is truly solid in implementing 5S+S activities. They demonstrate good teamwork and a high commitment to ensuring K3L compliance. I am very impressed with their support in each team,” said Mrs. Rahayu, who focused on assessing the implementation aspects of K3L.
Meanwhile, Mr. Odi, who focused on evaluating standard operating procedures (SOP), was impressed by the “ITS Knowledge Center” model, an innovation that won 1st place in the 3rd ITS Improvement in 2018, as well as the thickest final project in the ITS Library by Muharam Gani Irawan from Civil Engineering, which is stored in the Ikoma Corner Room Service.
This 5S+S K3L Activity Program proves the ITS Library’s commitment to creating a healthy and safe work environment while providing quality services for the ITS academic community. (onemore)
