The information literacy program at the ITS Library supports the smoothness and success of ITS academics in teaching and learning activities, research, and community service; encourage undergraduate and graduate students to think more critically about information, and helping ITS academicians (especially students) find high-quality online and printed sources of scientific information, and use information ethically.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, information literacy programs were conducted online. The following is a list of online information literacy class sessions provided at the ITS Library. We adjusted most class sessions to focus on information literacy related to learning and research.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive – we are happy to tailor the session to suit the needs of your class
The online information literacy program is scheduled regularly every month 2 times. The second week is for the E-Resources Class and the fourth week for the Reference Manager. Each information literacy program (E-Resources Class and Reference Manager) begins with a Library Instruction (adjusted to the needs and status of ITS academics while attending classes). Schedule for providing routine information literacy programs every Tuesday at 10.00-12.00 WIB. If you want to take part in a scheduled online information literacy program at the ITS Library, please register here first
Apart from being regularly scheduled, online information literacy programs are also carried out on request (by request). Requests for online information literacy classes must be accepted by us at least 6 working days in advance to ensure proper preparation time and class availability. Please fill out the form as completely as possible on the webform below. Information literacy classes can be carried out if the number of participants who request is at least 5 (five). Specifically for requests for certain departments or courses, you can contact WA Libraries at bit.ly/WAlibits
