As a State Legal Entity University (PTNBH), the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) is expected to be able to answer these challenges. PTNBH ITS must be able to develop innovation, technopreneurship, and business applications to support increasing ITS revenue. With proper planning and strategy, the program of activities in the form of increasing the number of innovative research products that can be commercialized can become a reliable source of income for ITS.
The commercialization process is not easy to implement. It requires the same perception from innovation institution managers. The commercialization process also requires a continuous process from the initial research stage to finally being able to be applied in society by partnering with partners to achieve commercialization success. To accelerate this commercialization process, the ability and understanding of the team are needed in one direction towards the success of commercialized research results. Thus, institutional strengthening becomes one of the activities that must be designed starting from how research results are protected, business strategies are prepared, branding and how to attract funding, and so on.
