The procurement of equipment for the STP innovation centers is being carried out to support a variety of initiatives. These initiatives include the establishment of new facilities, the construction of academic buildings, and the development of a cultural and language center.
The new facilities for the innovation centers will focus on four specific areas: the creative industry, maritime technology, automotive, and ICT & robotics. These facilities will provide students and researchers with the resources they need to innovate and develop new products and processes.
The academic buildings will house classrooms and laboratories that will be used to teach and train students in a variety of disciplines. The buildings will also provide space for research and development activities.
The cultural and language center will help to support ITS’s internationalization efforts. The center will offer a variety of programs and services that will help students and faculty to learn about different cultures and languages.
The equipment that is being procured for these initiatives is being grouped into six categories: software, machinery and production, ICT/computers/hardware, surveying/measurement/instruments, photography, audio, and workshop equipment, and furniture.
The procurement of this equipment is an important step in the development of STP and ITS. The equipment will help to support the university’s mission of providing world-class education and research.
