This year, 12 proposals for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) from the ITS Department of Regional and Urban Planning (PWK) were funded by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristendikti). Of the 148 PKM funded by ITS, 12 of them came from the PWK department consisting of eight Social Humanities Research PKM (PKM-PSH) and four others were Community Service PKM. The ITS PWK Department is the largest contributor to PKM-PSH in ITS.
Adjie Pamungkas, ST M Dev Plg PhD, Head of the ITS PWK Department in the PWK PKM Kick-off event expressed his congratulations to the team of students who had successfully passed the PKM funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. According to Adjie, this was a quite encouraging achievement for the PWK department, because the PKM was a prestigious national scale event.
“The PWK Department routinely donates medals for ITS. Ranging from hope champions, silver to gold medals. Your seniors have proven that the ITS PWK department contributes to ITS victory. Then you also have to be able to, “he said. In working on the PKM, the eye-glasses man emphasized that students must work smart. Besides that, they also work together in teams to get maximum results. “The PWK Department will make every effort to support the entire team so they can qualify for Pimnas. Starting from the classrooms, mentoring and everything that can support the spirit, “he said.
At the kick off event, it was also attended by Putu Gde Ariastita ST MT as the ITS PKM escort team who also lectured the ITS PWK Department to give tips to students in working on PKM. “In the execution of the PKM, the most important thing is the progress of the research, for creativity to be guaranteed, those who pass the PKM are funded with high creative value,” he said. For PKM Social Research for Humanities and Research The exact output needed requires patents and articles in the form of journals and seminars. “The PKM that is worked on by this funding must be true and competitive, have a state of the art, which is an explanation of the methodology and problems raised in the research,” explained the man who is familiarly called Aris.
In addition to this, Aris also reminded that all teams routinely carry out guidance, mentoring and filling out the logbook. “By filling out the logbook regularly and regularly, the team also learns professionally regarding the responsibilities given,” he concluded. (gel)
