The island of Lombok is inhabited by approximately 5 million people who produce 3,500 tons of waste per day with an average of 0.7 tons per person. Based on this data, only 18 percent are entered for processing (source: change.org). For this reason, the waste management project, especially in Lombok (in partnership with the Ddorocare institution) is one of the focuses in the action to realize the 2030 SDGs in the climate change management cluster. In addition to cleaning up the garbage that pollutes the beach and conducting a brand audit, later on, the collected waste will be processed/recycled into new products that have added value and functions with high selling points.
