The Information Systems Department (DSI) ITS is located on Jl. Raya ITS, Keputih, Kec. Sukolilo, SBY City, East Java 6011. It has been established since 2001 and be the first Information Systems Study Program at State Universities in Indonesia, in addition to that the ITS Information System curriculum has been used as a reference and Qibla Information System Study Program at other institutions. Currently the Information Systems Department manages two Study Programs:

Sarjana (S1)
Masters (S2)

Undergraduate study programs get Accreditation A from the Indonesian Higher Education National Accreditation Board (BAN PT), while master study programs are accredited B.

Both Study Programs have used a credit system. The Information Systems Bachelor Program consists of 144 credits and is designed to provide students with relevant competencies in their future careers.

Whereas the master program takes at least 36 credits including 28 credits of taught courses and 8 credit master’s theses. The Masters Program is scheduled to be completed in 4 semesters.

In 2017 the Information System Department was visited and received ACCREDITATION from the ASEAN University Networking-Quality Assessment (AUN-QA) International Accreditation Board.
