Welcome to the website of the Interdisciplinary School of Management and Technology (SIMT) at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). Established in 2021, SIMT operates under Rector Regulation Number 11 of 2021. The school manages several postgraduate-level study programs as well as certified education initiatives.

The study programs under SIMT’s management include the Doctor of Technology Management (DMT), which began in 2020; the Master of Technology Management (MMT), operating since 1996; the Master of System and Technology Innovation (MIST), launched in 2022; and the Engineer Profession Program (PPI). These programs are primarily designed for professionals who wish to pursue higher education while working. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, many of them holding strategic positions in various organizations.

The DMT program has gained significant interest among professionals and business leaders. It aims to produce graduates equipped to make complex decisions based on thorough scientific studies. The MMT program, with its long-standing history, has consistently grown in student numbers over the years.

Currently, the MMT program offers areas of expertise in Industrial Management, Project Management, Information Technology Management, Supply Chain Management (introduced in 2018), Business Analytics (introduced in 2018), and Innovation Design Management (introduced in 2020). In 2021, in collaboration with the MarkPlus Institute, a new area of expertise, Technomarketing, was added. These innovative additions have positioned MMT as a leading program in preparing professionals to meet the demands of today’s digital era.

The Master of System and Technology Innovation (MIST) is a newer program designed for individuals interested in studying the innovation process and its application in specific technological fields. Specializations offered include Renewable Energy, Geothermal Technology, and Public Policy, with plans to expand into other relevant areas, such as Technopreneurship in collaboration with IDS College Jakarta.

SIMT’s teaching and learning activities are supported by highly qualified faculty members from various ITS departments and experienced practitioners. The facilities provided foster a conducive academic atmosphere. Located in the heart of Surabaya at the ITS Tjokroaminoto Campus, SIMT offers flexible evening and weekend classes, allowing students to balance work and study. Additionally, the Distance Learning (PJJ) program provides opportunities for professionals to continue their education without the need to attend on-campus classes, enabling them to maintain their regular work schedules.
