Welcome to the official website of the School of Interdisciplinary Management and Technology (SIMT), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). SIMT is a new school established by ITS in 2021, governed under Rector Regulation No. 11 of 2021. This school manages several postgraduate programs as well as certified education programs.
The academic programs managed by SIMT include the Doctoral Program in Technology Management, which began in 2020; the Master’s Program in Technology Management, established in 1996; the Master’s Program in System and Technology Innovation, which started accepting students in 2022; and the Professional Engineer Program. These programs are specifically designed for professionals, allowing them to pursue education while working.
The Doctoral Program in Technology Management is highly sought after by professionals and corporate leaders. The program aims to produce graduates equipped with the skills to make complex decisions based on deep, scientific analyses.
The Master’s Program in Technology Management (MMT) is well-established, with a growing number of students over the years. By 2021, MMT had over 900 students. Currently, the program offers specializations in Industrial Management, Project Management, Information Technology Management, Supply Chain Management (introduced in 2018), Business Analytics (introduced in 2018), and Innovation Design Management (introduced in 2020). In 2021, in collaboration with MarkPlus Institute, a new specialization, Technomarketing, was introduced. These innovations and the addition of new specializations make MMT a leading study program in providing professionals relevant to the demands of the digital era.
The Master’s Program in System and Technology Innovation is a new program designed for those interested in learning about innovation processes and applying them to specific technological fields. The offered specializations include Renewable Energy, Geothermal Technology, and more fields that will soon be added.
