Department of Marine Engineering (DMarE) is one of the department under Faculty of Marine Technology ITS which has the main competencies in designing and engineering floating structures and offshores. The department has established since 1982 and it educates young engineers various topics including machinery system, electrical system, piping system and all of the supporting system for the floating structures at sea. Furthermore, DMarE has a very large responsibility for the development of this scientific field, because nationally only in DMarE ITS alone has Core Competence in the field of Marine Engineering with undergraduate, master and doctoral degree programs.
