The Department of Marine Engineering ITS has collaborated with Hochschule Wismar University (HSW), Germany in opening a joint Double Degree (DD) study program for the Master of Science (M.Sc) and Master of Engineering (M.Eng). This study program focuses its expertise in the field of Marine Engineering. This program is being carried out as a continuation of the Bachelor Double Degree Program, which has been held in the Department of Marine Engineering since 2011.
Vision
The vision of the Marine Engineering Master Study Program is to become a center of excellence for education and research in the field of Marine Engineering with an international reputation with an environmental perspective.
Mission
The vision above is formulated into the mission of the Marine Engineering Master Study Program, with reference to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely:
Documentation of library exploration training activities, promotorship training, pre-qualification examinations, qualifications, closed and management coordination.
Master’s double degree program in the Department of Marines Engineering has a 4 (four) semester study period. Department of Marine Engineeering is a department in Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember that has competence in the field of ship engineering design, ship electricital, ship piping system, ship safety, and ship HVAC-R systems, ship construction, shipping and port operations. Because of the advantages of the Marine Enginering Dual Degree Program, students can be given effective access to a wide variety of international and industrial connectivity for technical, operational and commercial study fields not only in Indonesia but also in Europe, so that students may hopefully have done better technology-based implementations, research and further high-level careers after their graduation.
