Jurnal Sosial Humaniora (JSH) is published by LPPM-Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember with its main aim to spread critical and original analysis from researchers and academic practitioners on various contemporary social and humanities issues both local and foreign. The writing is published after undergoing a peer-review process by providing an exclusive analysis of social and humanities issues from various perspectives. JSH provides high-quality study outcomes and new thoughts for academic practitioners, researchers and decision-makers to break down the complexity and dynamics of contemporary social changes. Published two times a year: January – July and August – December, JSH provides itself as a medium for – also invites- researcher, academic practitioners, and intellectuals to submit their critical writings and to contribute to the development of social and humanities sciences.
Jurnal Sosial Humaniora (JSH) is a scientific journal which publishes original articles on the most recent knowledge, researches, or applied studies and other development in fields of social, humanities, and public policy. Since 2008 the journal has been published in a print-out form regularly two times a year (January – July, and August – December).
Jurnal Sosial Humaniora will charge a fee of IDR 1.000.000 / USD 75 to the author for article processing charges during the publication process. Once the issue is published, the author will get an issue by email.

The Indonesian Journal of Development Studies is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary medium for critical research and reflection on the complex problems of development theory, policy and practice. The IJDS publishes articles and review essays. The Journal aims to keep readers informed with occasional commentaries, practical notes and reviews of recent books and other media on development. The IJDS is global in its outlook and encourages contributions from scholars and practitioners around the world.
The IJDS is edited at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Indonesia. Editorial administration is housed at Research and Community Service Institute at the same university. The IJDS is published in collaboration with Indonesian Development Studies Consortium with support from its Department of Development studies members in Institut Teknologi Bandung, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, Universitas Andalas, and Universitas Sumatra Utara.
Submissions are invited in English. We welcome theoretical papers, particularly if they offer thought-provoking interdisciplinary analysis; preference is given, however, to articles based on empirical research, case studies, or fieldwork that has significant implications for development policy and practice.
