It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (F-Scientics) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Our Department stands as a center of excellence in Statistical education and research, as well as for Data Science, guided by our vision:
“To become an educational and development institution for computing-based Statistics and Data Science with an international reputation in science and technology and its applications in the fields of Industry, Business, Economics, Social, Environmental, and Health.”
As one of the pioneers in Statistical and Data Science education, the Department of Statistics manages four esteemed academic programs:
Each of these programs has achieved remarkable milestones. All degree programs in Statistics (Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral) have been granted the highest level of national accreditation (Excellence or A), underscoring their excellence and relevance. In addition, The Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs in Statistics have been internationally accredited by ASIIN since 2021, reflecting our commitment to maintaining the highest academic standards.
