Research Center for Marine and Earth Science and Technology (STKK), Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya in 2022 is active in research that leads to product downstream through the Kedaireka program. The two studies entitled Development of Multi-Sensor Drone Integration for Land-Salt Stockpile Mapping at PT. GARAM Persero and Integration of Automatic Sluice Systems, located in Madura, and Integration of Mobile Mapping Multi Sensor-GPS and Geographic Information System for PDAM Surya Sembada Water Meter-Asset Management, located in Surabaya.
Kedaireka is the latest solution in realizing the ease of synergizing the contribution of higher education institutions with commercialization partners for the advancement of the Indonesian nation, which is in line with the vision of the Kampus Merdeka of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
8 copyrights were created from this research in the form of patents, brands, and industrial designs where the research results link and match the world of industry and universities, following the objectives of the Kadeireka program. (The details of 8 copyrights from the Kedaireka Program)
Research at PT. GARAM Persero, Madura produced 4 patents. Low-Cost Drone LIDAR, Low-Cost GNSS Interferometric Reflectometry, SMART RTK Point GPS, and Watergate Automation. Apart from that, this research also created the copyright in the form of the Automatic Water Gate Application.
Research conducted at PDAM Surya Sembada, Surabaya, has been no less productive. The researchers created 1 copyright in the form of an AI application to detect PDAM Building Assets with Mobile Mapping, 1 patent for Mobile Mapping Using Webcams and GNSS, and 1 industrial design in the form of a Low-Cost GNSS SMART GEO-PD ITS Design.
The Research Center Marine and Earth Science and Technology, ITS hopes that these two studies will trigger further good research for developing the world of research and innovation. So that the researchers produce more research products in the field of Marine and Earth Science and Technology that help solve problems in the industrial sector and social issues.
