STKK Research Center and FTSPK (Faculty of Civil Planning and Geo Engineering), together with Chiba University, successfully held the World Class Professor 2022 program. The main focus of WCP 2022 is Establishing a Global Research Network: Remote Sensing Technology for Earth Science with 7 main missions, namely Network Improvement Double Degree Program, Draft Patent, Join Publication, Human Research and International Accreditation, Guest Lecture, Peer Review International JMEST Journal, Joint Supervision and Data Analysis for Masters and Doctoral.

WCP 2022 Research Center for STKK and FTSPK invited Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo from the Josaphat Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory (JMRSL), Center for Environmental Remote Sensing, Chiba University. The program led by Mokhamad Nur Cahyadi ST, M.Sc, Ph.D., lecturer at the Geodesy and Surveying Laboratory, and a team of experts from the STKK ITS Research Center has completed dozens of activities during WCP 2022 in the form of workshops, work, and research discussions, preparation of papers for publication to international journals, to research-related sample tests. These activities are concentrated in two countries, Indonesia and Japan, in September – November 2022.
ITS, through the STKK Research Center and FTSPK with Chiba University, agreed to collaborate on various agreements, including drafting a double degree, initiating research discussions in various fields, sharing knowledge, research collaboration and developing research results, and other collaborations.
Chiba University’s reputation as one of the quality universities in Asia (13 Best Global University and ranked 202 best universities in Asia) and Professor Josaphat’s expertise and experience can strengthen ITS position as a world-class university and have an impact on improving the quality of lecturers and institutions to deal with issues and present and future challenges.
