STKK DRPM ITS (Marine and Earth Science and Technology Research Center, Directorate of Research and Community Service, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology) consistently develops and improves the quality of research in the earth and marine fields. One of the efforts shown is that he is keen to internationalize by establishing cooperation with various countries. At the beginning of 2023, STKK DRPM, together with DKG (Directorate of Global Partnerships) ITS, succeeded in establishing cooperation with several countries.
“STKK DRPM ITS is collaborating with Chiba University and Kyoto University from Japan. This collaboration will focus on developing remote sensing technology and the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) in an effort to solve problems in the remote sensing sector,” said Mokhamad Nur Cahyadi ST., M.Sc., Ph.D., one of the STKK expert teams in the field of geology.
STKK DRPM ITS has also successfully collaborated with University College London (UCL) and Cranfield University from the UK. This research collaboration focuses on developing technology in the marine sector.
Furthermore, this collaboration with world-class universities continues beyond research and technology development cooperation. The seminar agenda will later be carried out to increase awareness about research collaboration carried out by STKK DRPM, as well as share the spirit of research and innovation within the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology.
