STKK DRPM ITS (Marine and Earth Science and Technology Research Center, Directorate of Research and Community Service, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology) consistently supports the downstream of research products. Various collaborations with industry continue to be intensified to jointly increase the production of import substitutes and the Domestic Component Level (TKDN). In order to achieve this goal, STKK DRPM ITS collaborates with PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya and ITS Tekno Sains to downstream Low-Cost SMRT GEO ITS products.
This partnership is expected to create a product certification and be able to penetrate the sales market. This research is also targeted to become a start-up that can bridge the process of commercializing Low-Cost GPS products. The goal is for technology products that are qualified and more affordable to be felt by various parties, especially the industrial sector.
Furthermore, STKK DRPM, ITS Techno Science, and PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya submitted this research to enter the KEDAIREKA program. The hope is that collaboration between universities, industry, and the government can accelerate product downstream, especially Low-Cost GPS products.
