STKK ITS Boosts Foreign Research Collaboration in 2023
News
STKK Research Center (Marine and Earth Science Technology) DRPM ITS continues to promote various overseas research collaborations with various countries. At the beginning of 2023, STKK succeeded in giving birth to 4 foreign collaborations with grant schemes. This research will result in the publication of Q1 and Q2 international journals indexed by Scopus.
Research on the application of fishing vessels for stability quality checkers, 2-wave solar research, advanced research on the effect of biofouling on ship drag, and the development of a Tsunami Early Warning System have been successful in collaboration with various stakeholders and foreign universities such as the Newton Fund and University College London (UCL), Innovate UK and Cranfield University, and others.
These studies are expected to create various patents and copyrights to increase researchers’ capacity and technological independence. In addition, STKK will continue to explore grants with various countries in 2023 and is expected to be able to collaborate on research with grant programs and other schemes.
