Opening of ELECTICS Visit 1.0 BEM FTEIC ITS

With a passion for expanding relationships, BEM FTEIC ITS collaborates by inviting BEM FTIRS ITS to make virtual study visits through an event called ELECTICS Visit or ELVIS. Moreover, ELVIS is also a forum for organizational knowledge sharing with various Student Organizations or ORMAWA at ITS.

The event, which was held for the first time on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, has succeeded in becoming a knowledge-sharing facility to build innovation between organizations. The event was attended by functionaries from each BEM FTEIC ITS and BEM FTIRS ITS. With the presence of 129 participants, ELVIS was opened with remarks by the Chair of the event and each Head of BEM.

Even though it was held online, the Head of BEM FTEIC ITS, Indra Widnyana, was still enthusiastic about welcoming this event. “For the first time this ELVIS is held, both of us from BEM FTEIC ITS and BEM FTIRS ITS are very enthusiastic and excited of course. Therefore, on this occasion, we want to take the opportunity because we have the same goal,” he explained.

The event continued with a general presentation of the organization by each representative from BEM FTEIC ITS and BEM FTIRS ITS. In the middle of the event, there was a discussion session which of course became the core of this event. In the discussion session, there were topics of discussion from Organizations Work Programs, Organizational Structures, to various experiences from activities around the organization.

In order to improve organizational knowledge and sharing experiences, the event continued to hold Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sessions in each department. The FGD focused on discussions related to the organization, from Organizations Work Programs, Agendas, To The Organizational Culture Of Each Department.

“We hope that through this ELVIS, together we can provide benefits and also strengthen the relationship between ORMAWA at ITS. And of course,  we also hope that ELVIS can be held again on another occasion,” explained Rayhan Daffa.
