Welcome to the official website of the Faculty of Civil, Planning and Geo Engineering (FT-SPK). FT-SPK consists of six departments, namely Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, City Area Planning, Geomatics Engineering, and Geophysical Engineering. These six departments have 6 undergraduate study programs and 9 postgraduate study programs (S2 and S3).

FT-SPK has a high commitment to supporting ITS’s target of achieving a ranking in the top 500 World Class Universities and increasing National Contribution. This can be seen from all departments having superior accreditation, 6 study programs have international accreditation, and all departments have partners both at home and abroad.

FT-SPK is also a forum for the Department that produces the best graduates who have competencies in accordance with their respective fields of science. Various FT-SPK alumni have become leaders in various institutions, both government and private, such as Tri Rismaharini, Slamet Raharjo. FT-SPK alumni have also taken part at international level such as Lucia Karina, Andri Kusbiantoro.

HISTORY OF F-CIVPLAN

F-CIVPLAN is the result of downsizing the faculty based on the adjustment of science groups and fields of science at ITS. F-CIVPLAN consists of six majors, namely Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Geomatics Engineering, and Geophysical Engineering.

  • 1957

    November 10, 1957 – President Soekarno inaugurated the foundation by signing the Technical College Charter on November 10, Surabaya. Two departments were opened, namely the Civil Engineering Department and the Mechanical Engineering Department.

  • 1960

    November 3, 1960 – Change of name to Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) with status as a State University based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Teaching and Culture No. 93367/UU.

  • 1961

    The first anniversary based on Ministerial Decree no. 9 of 1961 fell on November 10. The change in status was accompanied by the addition of five faculties, namely the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Naval Engineering.

  • 1965

    The opening of two new faculties, namely the Faculty of Architectural Engineering and the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences according to the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture no. 72 year 1965

  • 1983

    The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) has five faculties, namely the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, the Faculty of Naval Engineering, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and the Faculty of Non-Degree Technology.

  • 1991

    Changes in the number of faculties to only four faculties, namely the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP), and the Faculty of Marine Technology (FTK).

  • 2017

    The management of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) PTNBH in full with the new SOTK accompanied by a change in the number of faculties from five faculties to eight faculties in January and ten faculties in September 2017.

  • 2020

    There was a downsizing of the Faculty to 7 Faculties. FTSPK is present in charge of 6 Departments: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Urban Area Design, Geomatics Engineering, Geophysical Engineering
