The Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (F-ELECTICS) is a leading faculty in ITS which was established as a combination of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FTIK) and the Faculty of Electrical Technology (FTE) consisting of six departments that leading ten study programs for S1, more than 2500 students both at the S1, S2 level or S3. Thursday, May 30, 2024 Following the decision of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture, number 0754/E/O/2023, the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (ELECTICS) continues to evolve and prepare to provide the best services to the community. ELECTICS organized a call to implement the Integrity Zone within the faculty and departments. On Friday, March 8, 2024, ELECTICS held an event titled ``Socialisation of the ZI Implementation Program,`` which took place in the Auditorium Tower 2 building.
Thursday, June 6, 2024 The Faculty of Smart Electrical and Informatics Technology (ELECTICS) held a guest lecture in collaboration with the Indonesian Social Security Administration (BPJS) on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Handayani Hall, 2nd Floor, ITS Sukolilo Informatics Engineering Department Building. The guest lecture, titled ``Directions of BPJS Health Insurance Policy and Smart Technology Support in Improving Services,`` was delivered directly by the Main Director of BPJS, Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti M.Sc., Ph.D.
Monday, June 24, 2024 Sexual violence on campus is no longer just an issue but a serious challenge that needs to be addressed wisely and decisively. At Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), the issue of sexual violence on campus is handled by the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS). This task force is responsible for providing reporting channels and offering support to victims. One of the preventive efforts undertaken is holding socialization sessions, which this time involved the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (F-SAD) and the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (FT-EIC) along with their academic communities, the Chairperson of PPKS and its members, and participants from these two faculties.
Thursday, May 30, 2024 On Friday, April 26, 2024, the Pre-Basic Level Student Management Skills Training (LKMM Pra TD) IV of ELECTICS took place. This event is part of a series of campus introduction activities attended by all new students. The aim of this activity is to provide basic training to new students regarding time management, serving as a foundation for them to enter a new phase, namely university life. The event was held offline for four days, from April 26 to 28, 2024, at Science Tower 1, ITS Sukolilo.
Tuesday, June 18, 2024 The declining air quality due to pollution has become a serious issue. In response to this problem, Isaura Qinthara Heriswan, an Information Systems student at ITS, along with her team, began developing Aither in March 2023. Aither is an innovative air purifier that utilizes microalgae biotechnology to purify the air while maintaining humidity stability. The advantage of Aither is that it not only absorbs dust and particles but also captures carbon dioxide and produces oxygen, thus addressing carbon emissions.
Thursday, June 27, 2024 Innovation knows no bounds, as demonstrated by a group of students from the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (F-ELECTICS) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya. Through a project titled Smart Mobile Inclusive Learning (SMILE), they developed an AI-based physical therapy tool that provides inclusive learning and enjoyable physical therapy for children with special needs.
