As an endeavour to strengthen the Industry-Academia partnership, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Indonesia, in collaboration with Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) Japan and IHI Corporation, proudly present the Global Project-Based Learning (GPBL) ITS-SIT-IHI 2022. This agenda was held on September 30-December 2, 2022.

With the excellent expertise in the field of science and technology from SIT and ITS, as well as the industrial approach of IHI Corporation, the program conducted lectures, group discussions, and projects on several case studies on the topic of net zero emission, including:

1. Ammonia-based fuel
2. Biomass-based fuel
3. Forestry management

The participants of this activity amounted to 55 people, consisting of students and lecturers from ITS, SIT, Gadjah Mada University, Nihon University, and Tokyo University of Science and Technology.

The implementation of GPBL by ITS-SIT-IHI signifies a paradigm shift in education. By nurturing leadership skills, promoting collaboration, and fostering a dynamic learning environment, GPBL equips students with the tools needed to excel academically and professionally. ITS-SIT-IHI’s commitment to this innovative approach enhances the educational experience and prepares students to be future leaders, innovators, and collaborators. As GPBL continues to shape the educational landscape, it reaffirms the institution’s dedication to producing well-rounded individuals capable of meeting the challenges of the modern world head-on.
