Maternal and Child Health Centers (MCHCs) are services provided by the Medical Center at ITS that focus on the health needs of women and children. MCHCs manage health programs related to women and children, such as immunization programs, family planning programs, and reproductive health programs. They provide various services related to sexual and reproductive well-being, including reproductive health education, gynecological care, and menstrual health.
These centers offer a range of gynecological services, including routine check-ups, screenings for reproductive health issues, diagnosis and management of gynecological conditions, and referrals to specialists if necessary. Additionally, Maternal and Child Health Centers address menstrual health concerns by conducting evaluations, diagnosing conditions such as irregular periods, heavy bleeding, or menstrual pain, and providing appropriate treatment.
It’s important to note that the services provided by Maternal and Child Health Centers aim to promote the well-being and health of women and children about their sexual and reproductive health needs.
