In response to the climate crisis, the Ministry of Environment and Disaster, Student Executive Board (BEM) ITS initiated “ITS Green Action” at Labuhan Mangrove Ecotourism, Bangkalan, involving mangrove and seagrass planting. Led by Angela Anugrah Parea Sari, the activity aimed to raise awareness among the ITS Student Family about the climate crisis and engage in blue carbon restoration in coastal areas. This aligns with the theme of supporting aquatic ecosystems through action, emphasizing the hands-on approach to address damage to coastal environments. The initiative, which included volunteers and local communities, seeks not only to restore ecosystems but also to empower participants to apply gained knowledge in their neighborhoods, creating a lasting positive impact.
