Isu strategis yang digunakan sebagai dasar dan fokus penelitian dari Laboratorium Programmable Logic Controller dan Sistem Kontrol Supervisori pada tahun 2015-2020 adalah pemanfaatan teknologi otomasi untuk kebutuhan industri.
Programable Logic Controller ( PLC ) adalah salah satu elemen penting pada otomasi industri. Oleh karena itu, mempelajari konsep dasar dari PLC sangat penting untuk pengembangan teknologi otomasi di masa yang akan datang.
