Lectures at ITS Geophysical Engineering are not only on campus, but also outside campus. Starting Sunday, July 2, 2023 to Saturday, July 15, 2023, class 2021 students are undergoing field study to deepen their geological knowledge.
Located in Karangsambung, students study geological phenomena in Karangsambung which are famous for the exposed ancient ocean floor. For 2 weeks, students visited several sites such as Mount Parang, Kali Jebuk, Sungai Luk Ulo, Wagersambeng, and so on.
Field Study are held annually for 4th semester students, which are intended for the application of geological science that has been provided during lectures. In collaboration with BRIN, field lectures are not only held outdoors, but also on the BRIN campus during the evening sessions.
