Wednesday and Thursday, 22-23 February 2023, Geophysical Engineering had guests from the Darul Ulum Jombang Superior High School. The visit of these students was to get information about ITS Geophysical Engineering.
This event began with a scientific presentation of Geophysical Engineering by Ir. Juan Pandu Gya Nur Rochman, M.T, through the medium of a mural of the scope of Geophysics Engineering on the wall of the 1st Floor Building.
Furthermore, students are welcome to enter the workshop room to get an explanation of laboratory equipment. This session was hosted by Ir. Eki Komara, M.T. which describes the workings of laboratory equipment to how to process geophysics data.
Then the research exhibition room became the next place visited by the students.
Assisted by a team of students, Ir Wien Lestari, M.T. conveyed an explanation of the various types of rocks and their incision samples collected by the ITS Geophysics Engineering.
The event was closed with a group photo session in front of the wall mural on Floor 1. The accompanying teacher was also included.
Hopefully by holding this event, it can cure students’ curiosity about ITS Geophysical Engineering.
