Master of Geomatics Engineering (MofGE) was established in 2009 under the Geomatics Engineering Department (DGE) at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)  through the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) No. 12251/D/T/2009, July 21, 2009 . Initially, the establishment was aimed to support the need for higher qualification level graduates in geomatics engineering. Along with the globalization era characterized by a “borderless” nation, the MofGE of ITS aims to have world-class master’s study programs in education and innovative research to support industry and contributes to the development of science and technology related to the field of geomatics engineering through the three pillars of higher education (tridharma perguruan tinggi) activities.
