Survey Equipment Handover Ceremony and Training

From October 16-19, 2024, the Department of Geomatics Engineering, represented by our
ead of Department, Mr. Danar Guruh Pratomo, ST, MT, Ph.D., proudly participated in
the Handover Ceremony of Survey and Mapping Equipment from the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
Held at R Hotel Rancamaya, Bogor, this event marks a significant leap for our department,
equipping us with the latest technology in surveying. 🏞️🎉

In addition, we sent three of our best students — Raul Javier De Yong, S.T., Bagas Firman Maulana, and Dimas Dwi Cahyo
— to attend a specialized training program. They gained valuable hands-on experience in photogrammetry,
data acquisition, Lidar processing, and drone operations with DJI Matrice 350 RTK and DJI Mavic 3E. 🚁📊

With this new equipment and training, we hope ITS can contribute even more to advancing surveying and mapping,
supporting Indonesia’s infrastructure and spatial management.We’re excited to see our students
apply their new skills to real-world challenges! 💡🌍
