Students of Civil Infrastructure Engineering from the Vocational Faculty (FV), Boy Triono and Moch Dimas Gumilang, who are part of the Risomas Reborn team. Boy Triono, as the team leader, said that the initial idea for this design came from their concern about the damage to the suspension bridge in Mamasa, West Sulawesi. Therefore, they developed the idea to prevent damage to the suspension bridge known as the Arcano Bridge.

Furthermore, the 2020 cohort students revealed that it took two days to complete the design, from determining the idea to drawing the bridge design. Boy also explained that the word ‘Arcano’ in Arcano Bridge is derived from Sanskrit, meaning ‘shining’ and ‘admired’, according to the theme. Thanks to this work, the team supervised by Dr. Eng Yuyun Tajunnisa ST.MT, Lecturer of Civil Infrastructure Engineering, was able to win the 2nd place in the Suspension Bridge Crossing People’s Concept Design Competition organized by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) a few days ago. Through the Arcano Bridge suspension bridge design, the Risosmas Reborn team hopes to facilitate the community’s activities
