We are delighted to announce that Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) especially Department of Ocean Engineering and Tohoku University have collaboration since 1997. Later, in 2006 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed to promote further collaboration. Moreover, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) also has been signed on July 29, 2015 between Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and HZ University and Applied Sciences, Netherlands to promote the development of academic scientific and cultural exchange, and of teaching and research activities. Many activities that have performed well in term of collaborative research, faculty and student exchange, joint educational program, seminars, workshops etc.
ISOCEEN aims are providing a discussion forum countries to exchange their knowledge of research and development for researchers and experts in the field of Ocean, Offshore, Coastal engineering, environmental and Disaster Management. With a growing number of cooperative activities between Indonesia, Japan, Netherlands, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, etc, the forum will focus on establishing and extending professional networks to foster the relationship amongst the Universities, industry, business and community in the world.
This year, again we are proudly to announce that Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya in collaboration with Tohoku University Japan, HZ University and Applied Sciences Netherlands, the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF) and Nuffic Internasionalising Education-Netherlands jointly organizing the 6th International Seminar on Ocean and Coastal Engineering, Environmental and Natural Disaster Management (ISOCEEN) 2018” in Department of Ocean Engineering, Faculty of Marine Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, on 7th November 2018. Selected papers presented in ISOCEEN 2018 will be published in Proceeding series indexed in Scopus.
